Sunday we finally decided on the new name for our metal side-project: The Lazarus Sign. It's based on the strange phenomenon when brain dead people raise their arms above their sternum, which is a sort of reflex. Example here (warning, not for the people that have an issue with dead people). We choose it because it's a pretty cool thing, it's a bit morbid and hey, maybe we can make some brain dead people move with our music

It feels a lot better than our previous name Stoneburn. If only for the fact that this was not chosen from a random Wikipedia article.

Now it's off to make some sort of logo or at least pick a font for the name.

Just had to share, I love it, some really strong imagery there. BTW, Godspeed You! Black Emperor is in Amsterdam, January 2011. I've got tickets already and if you're into Post Rock I'd strongly suggest you check it out too, these guys hardly ever come to Europe, at all.

The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel,
