So, Friday, last week, I got a mail summoning me and part of my team to our great German overlords (T-Systems) in Munich. We were all a bit skeptic and thought they were not so serious so we disregarded it. It turns out they were quite serious indeed!

Good part of the story: It’s Oktoberfest
Bad part of the story: I’ll be the only one there. My colleagues are all heading home the same day because of family or obligations or combination of both. Meh.

Oh well, I’ll be fine there, at least I made sure I have a hotel room with WiFi.

Yesterday we came back from Lowlands (read the full report at Lannie’s) and we haven’t had much rest since. First the unpacking, some sleep and this morning we got up early to arrange the last few bits for our trip to London & DM (or is Popo these days?) meet.

Unfortunately, our electricity is still pretty dead but the day before we left to Lowlands the landlord came by and we had to clear our computer room because it seems there is cable broken right underneath it. Of course this is the most stuffed room in the house. So we dumped all stuff in the living room and secretly hoped it would be fixed when we came back. It wasn’t. So today, I was out doing some minor shopping the landlord was at the door again ready to get started. Timing couldn’t be any worse and it seriously cut in our “chill out and get things ready” time *sighs*. Anyway, we got all stuff, we’ll drop BAKO off at Bas & Dagmar’s and get the last few things packed. Off to London it is
